iEvolve: Learning Science Through Hands-On Inquiry
Description
These videos are recordings of classroom instruction in Venice Heights and Ontario Elementary Schools in the Sandusky City Schools District showing students engaged in hands-on inquiry at the third grade level. This represents the foundation that we are building for our MSP project in all of the elementary schools in two school districts. During this stage teachers are learning how to guide their students in hands-on inquiry using FOSS kits. This is in preparation for the incorporation of student participation in citizen science research across the curriculum starting next fall.
